A US donation, consisting of baby incubators, was handed over on Wednesday to the Mongi Slim University Hospital in La Marsa, for the benefit of a number of public hospitals.
Health Minister Ali Mrabet hailed the cooperation and partnership programme in the health sector between Tunisia and the USA, which includes the development of the governance system and the promotion of training for health professionals in addition to the support provided in medical equipment and vaccine to fight against Covid-19.
US Ambassador to Tunisia, Joey Hood, expressed his country’s willingness to pursue cooperation with Tunisia in various fields and to deploy efforts to achieve joint programmes in the health sector.
