42 COVID-19 infections were logged on October 24 from 1,754 tests (2.39% positivity rate), pushing the caseload to 711,863, the Health Ministry said.
Two more deaths were also reported, taking the death toll to 25,160.
The number of recoveries also rose by 54 to 685,440.
Four more hospitalisations in public and private healthcare facilities brought the total to 460, including 116 patients in intensive care and 39 under life support.
