A total of 8,956,625 COVID-19 vaccine shots have been administered so far, including 5,504,905 first shots and 3,451,720 boosters, the Health Ministry said on Monday evening.
4,397,120 people have been fully vaccinated till October 25, including 3,451,720 who got two shots, 426,984 received one dose as the J&J/Janssen vaccine requires a single dose and a further 518,416 had one jab as they had previously contracted the virus.
The number of people registered on Evax.tn hit 6,636,615 on this date.
54,687 people honoured their vaccination appointments on October 25 out of 124,225 who received text message invites, the ministry added.
