According to Ghana News Agency:eacher Association (PTA) meeting held at the school in Wa. She noted that addressing these problems is crucial to ensuring the institution's success and increasing student enrollment, which is essential for institutional growth.
In an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA), the principal stressed the urgent need for infrastructure improvements and additional resources to maintain the school's facilities. "We have completed the boys' dormitory despite limited resources, but now we urgently need resources to build a new dormitory for our girls to accommodate the growing student enrollment," she stated.
On the issue of indiscipline, Mrs. Wondoh highlighted the critical role of PTAs in fostering discipline and supporting the overall welfare of students. She urged PTA members to collaborate in maintaining discipline to protect the institute's values. "I urge all staff and members of the PTA to see this school as their own and protect it by maintaining its value; we shall prevail," she added.
Mrs. Wondoh also expressed her gratitude to board members, staff, and PTAs for their unwavering support of the school. She appealed to philanthropists, non-governmental organizations, benevolent individuals, the government, corporate bodies, and other stakeholders to assist in addressing the school's challenges.
Dr. Lawrence Naaikuur, chairman of the PTA, concurred with the principal's concerns regarding indiscipline and student welfare and emphasized the need for urgent stakeholder attention. He encouraged parents to demonstrate commitment and support for the school in guiding their children to reinforce discipline among students.
The event also featured modeling and exhibitions from all departments, allowing parents to appreciate their children's practical work. During the exhibition, the GNA observed demonstrations from the Fashion, Catering, Electrical, and Building departments, showcasing their practical knowledge to the parents.
