Adaklu: Mr. Charles Kugbeadzor, Headteacher of Adaklu Kodzobi District Assembly Basic School, has emphasized the financial demands of education, urging parents to prioritize funding their children's education over acquiring material possessions. He addressed this issue during a Parent Association meeting held to elect new executives. According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Kugbeadzor highlighted the importance of parental involvement in education, even with the government's provision of free education from basic to senior high school. He stressed that parents still hold significant responsibilities to ensure their wards' academic success and should support the government's efforts by fulfilling their children's educational needs. The headteacher also advised students to focus on their studies and resist peer pressure that might negatively affect their education. He assured parents that he and his colleagues are committed to enhancing the teaching and learning experience at the school. Togbe Dzegblade IV, the C hief of the community, commended the teachers for their dedication to educating the children. He promised his support for the school and encouraged the Association to work collaboratively with teachers to maintain discipline. Togbe Dzegblade also expressed appreciation to the outgoing executives for their contributions and urged them to assist the newly elected leaders. The newly elected executives are tasked with managing the Association for the next three years. They include Mr. Seth Mawuli Soglo as chairperson, Mr. Charles Nyatskor as vice chairperson, Mr. Caleb Dewuwo as secretary, Mad. Juliana Anku as treasurer, and Mr. Frank Klu as financial secretary. Other members include Mr. Emmanuel Nyatsikor, Mr. Charles Kugbeadzor, Mr. Cephas Dzah, Mad. Margaret Agbi, and Mr. Cephas Agbati.
